Forniche's Recommendations
This is a ramen called “Iekei Ramen”. It is a popular choice among ramen enthusiasts in Japan. It is a rich, salty broth of pork bone and soy sauce. It is the best Iekei Ramen in Kichijoji, so please try it. The combination of the rich but refreshing soup and the sticky noodles is the best. You may find it smelly, but that is also a characteristic of this restaurant. Please give it a try.
Point of capture
There is a meal ticket machine just inside! Don't forget it's cash only! The red frame in the image is for regular-sized ramen, the blue frame is for medium-sized ramen, and the yellow frame is for large-sized ramen. (Please note that there are no colored frames in the actual store.)
You will be asked about customizing your ramen. The questions will be about the "firmness of the noodles," "richness of the soup," and "amount of oil." If you have no particular preferences, simply answer "all normal." If you do have specific preferences, show the image below and explain them to the staff.
